Italy is home to some of the most exciting amusement parks in Europe, with entertainment for families, kids, thrill-seekers, and lovers of unique experiences.
From adrenaline-pumping roller coasters to immersive cinematic adventures and water rides, Italian theme parks provide unforgettable fun.
Most of them are located in wonderful regions such as Tuscany and Lake Garda or Sicily, while you have a few of them next to beautiful Rome, capital city of Italy.

Gardaland Resort(Veneto)
One of the most famous and beloved amusement parks in Italy and no doubts my favorite theme park! I loved it since I was a child and every time I get the chance I treat myself with a fun day in the park, together with a nice weekend in lake Garda area and a day at the thermal spas of Sirmione. Not too bad, right?
Gardaland offers attractions for all ages, from thrilling roller coasters like “Raptor” and “Oblivion” to kid-friendly areas like Peppa Pig Land and live shows (which are some of my favorite things to do).
It is perfect for families and adrenaline enthusiasts. My favorite attraction and one of the main attractions of the park is Blue Tornado, high-speed, inverted roller coaster simulating the thrill of a fighter jet flight.
The park also features a sea-themed aquarium, Gardaland SEA LIFE.
If you want to stay in the surrounding area and take advantage to spend a few days in the park, you can stay at Gardaland Hotel, with free shuttle to reach the amusement park.

Mirabilandia (Emilia-Romagna)
Mirabilandia is the largest amusement park in Italy. Known for record-breaking roller coasters like “iSpeed” and “Katun,”Europe’s longest inverted coaster, the park is a mix of high-adrenaline rides and fun for the whole family. It also features a water park, Mirabeach, open in summer with water slides, wave pools and different tematic areas.
Mirabilandia is one of Italy’s largest and most famous amusement parks, located near Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna.
It also offers family-friendly rides and themed areas, including the immersive Ducati World, dedicated to the iconic motorcycle brand.

Cinecittà World (Rome, Lazio)
A park dedicated to the world of cinema and television, with themed areas and attractions that let you experience the magic of the big screen. It features shows, movie sets, and rides inspired by famous films. It is a unique experience to live some of your favorite movies’atmosphere feeling like you are a part of the set.
Cinecittà World, located near Rome, is built on the grounds of the legendary Cinecittà Studios, where many famous movies have been shot during decades.

Cavallino Matto (Tuscany)
Cavallino Matto is the largest amusement park in Tuscany, established in 1967 in the beautiful pine forest of Marina di Castagneto Carducci, next to the coast.
The park features a variety of attractions suitable for all ages, including five roller coasters and attractions such as Baia dei Bucanieri, a pirate-themed water ride with interactive water cannons, and Safari Adventure, featuring animatronic animals in a safari setting. The park also hosts live shows with acrobatic performances and a 3D cinema experience.

Rainbow MagicLand is a big amusement park located in Valmontone, near Rome, 600,000 square meters. This is a magical theme inspired park dedicated to fairy tales, myths, and legends.

Located at the foot of Mount Etna, the biggest active volcano in Italy, Etnaland combines an amusement park with a water park with breathtaking slides. It’s famous for its thrilling rides and breathtaking views of the volcano.
It is located in Belpasso, near Catania, Sicily, one of the most amazing regions in Italy (I like to go to Sicily every year and I love it).
The park is divided into two main areas: the Themepark, featuring roller coasters like The Storm and family-friendly rides such as Eldorado, and the Acquapark, with exciting water slides, wave pools, and relaxing lazy rivers.
