Nightlife in Mykonos is endless and crazy. I can tell you my 3 days in this amazing greek island have been some of the most fun of my life. Keep reading and you’ll discover the best places for nightlife in Mykonos.

How to get from the airport to the center of Mykonos
The center of Mykonos is about 4 km from Mykonos JMK airport. By taxi, it takes you less than 10 minutes. Ask the price before leaving because they do not use taximeters. I paid 15 euro one way.
Alternatively there are also buses going from the airport to the center and vice versa, but not so frequently. Therefore, it’s recommended to check in advance the schedule of departures.
If you want to explore the island independently, though, the best way would be to rent a car at Mykonos airport.

Enjoying a prime location, Matogianni Hotel offers accommodation in the centre of Mykonos Town. The air-conditioned rooms have private balcony.
Set in the Mykonos City Centre district in Mýkonos City, Mykonos Gem offers 2-star rooms with free WiFi. Each accommodation at the 2-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace. The property is a few steps from the city centre and 300 m from Agia Anna Beach.
The sophisticated Hotel Semeli is situated in Mykonos town, 500 m from Megali Ammos beach. It boasts tastefully decorated accommodation with sea, town or garden views, a sweet-water, heated pool with sun beds and a spa.
Scandinavian Bar Mykonos
It is a very popular club. One of the best for people loving nightlife in Mykonos. Downstairs ther is the bar and above the disco, where you enter by paying the price of a drink.
Very full of people, I really enjoyed dancing on the counter 🙂
Mexcafè
If you want to pay 2,50 € for a shot and 6 € for cocktails, still in the center of Mykonos you will find Mexcafè. International music, small place and very popular DJ club. Cute and definitely convenient.
But it’s still cheaper to stop at a supermarket or a liquor shop and buy what you need to make a drink by yourself. I was on holiday with 3 other people and then we split the expenses. Here in Mykonos you can legally consume alcohol in the streets.
Souvlaki Story
If you want to have an amazing souvlaki, then you have to go to Souvlaki Story. You can choose between different kinds of gyros.
I do not eat meat so I tried a gyro with cheese, vegetables and yogurt sauce. Very tasty is the giant combo story (to be shared) with gyros, greek salad, fries and pita bread.
Beach parties in Mykonos
Unfortunately I had a short time to enjoy Mykonos. I tried 2 beach parties, though, and I can tell you they are super fun!
Super Paradise, Mykonos
The first day I went to Super Paradise. If you do not feel stress with renting a car or scooter (and driving in Mykonos between climbs, descents, difficult parking, it is far from relaxing), you can take the private bus that will take you to the beach. The ticket price is 9 € roundtrip and the bus leaves from Fabrica station, in the center.
At Super Paradise you can rent 2 sunbeds and an umbrella at 20 €. It ‘a pebble beach, very nice but extremely windy.
At 16 o’clock in the afternoon party starts, with entertainment, dancers and dance show.
Paradise Beach, Mykonos
The second day I went to Paradise Beach, not far from the Super Paradise Beach and reachable by bus, from Fabrica Square.
Ticket price: € 3.60 round trip; the ticket may be purchades at the ticket office in the same square, and buses depart every half an hour. Last departure for return is at 23.30 from Paradise Beach.
Tropicana, Mykonos
At Paradise Beach is hosted on of the most famous and loved beach parties of the island. Anyone who has been at least once in Mykonos, certainly knows it.
From 16 the party starts in Tropicana …
Here the cost is 20 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella for the whole day.
When the party begins, it is great fun …
At first there is the vocalist and people start to dance, some on the cubes, some other on the tables. After a while, comes, the real star of the Tropicana, Sasa, with its “unique” show.
The party goes on till late at night. Alcohol increases the fun too and the music does not stop.
Cavo Paradiso
Next, for those who still have energy, I recommend to move to the club Cavo Paradiso, located on a promontory just above Paradise Beach. Here there are world renowned DJ and super parties.
This was just a little taste of the nightlife in Mykonos.
But I warn you: after you will need another holiday to recover from this holiday.
