A holiday on a vibrant and fun island like Tenerife isn’t complete without spending at least one day at one of its trendiest beach clubs.

The south of Tenerife offers a wide range of options when it comes to beach clubs, complete with sunbeds, umbrellas, DJ sets, and usually a bar and restaurant. In some cases, there’s no direct beach access, but you can still cool off in a pool.

In this article, I’ll share my 9 favorite beach clubs in South Tenerife. Let me know which one you decide to try!

Oa Beach Club

Av. Francisco Andrade Fumero, 1, 38660 Playa de la Américas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

One of the best beach clubs in Las Americas is Oa Beach Club. It’s located right on the oceanfront in a spot well known among local surfers. While it doesn’t have direct beach access due to the rocky coastline, it features a natural rock pool and an artificial beach with sunbeds, balinese beds, and umbrellas.

The vibe is super chill, there’s always music with a DJ, and you can enjoy food and drinks either on your lounger or at the terrace bar upstairs.

If you’re a fan of ocean sunsets, this is one of the best places to watch the sun go down in South Tenerife.

Monkey Beach Club

Av. Rafael Puig Lluvina, 3, 38660 Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Monkey Beach Club in Tenerife is one of the island’s most famous beach venues, known for its lively atmosphere and exclusive events. Every week it hosts different parties and music events, attracting both locals and travelers. Every Friday, don’t miss the Utopia Pool Party, from 12 PM to 6 PM, a unique experience with great music and ocean views.

Le Club

Urbanizacion Playa Fañabe, 3, 38660 Costa Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Located on the long sandy beach of Fañabé, this iconic beach club is famous especially for its popular weekend parties.

It’s set right on the beach with direct sea access and offers balinese beds, a bar, and a restaurant. As often happens in Tenerife, you pay a fee that includes the use of the sunbeds and a food/drink credit equal to the fee paid. So, you can spend your credit on meals and drinks.

Stick around until sunset for some dancing to the DJ’s music and enjoy the stunning view of the sun dipping below the horizon.

Fiji Beach Club

Playa Fañabé sn, 38650, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Also on Fañabé beach is another much-loved beach club: Fiji. Here too, you’ll find balinese beds, a bar, a restaurant, and weekend parties with DJ sets.

Kaluna Beach Club

CC Centro Costa Local, 79, 38670 Costa Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

A favorite among young tourists, Kaluna Beach Club sits along the oceanfront promenade in Costa Adeje. Though not directly on the beach, it offers beautiful Atlantic views, especially at sunset.

Kaluna is well-known for its lively events and poolside parties. You can spend the day lounging in the sun, enjoying music, live shows, drinks, food, and hot tubs.

Las Rocas Beach Club

C. Gran Bretaña, 5, 38660 Costa Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Recently renovated, this gorgeous beach club is in Costa Adeje along the pedestrian promenade by the ocean. That means: amazing views guaranteed!

The club features several pools, umbrellas, sunbeds, and balinese beds, some even with sea views. It’s best to book in advance, especially on weekends, as it can get quite busy.

As usual, you pay a fee that includes the use of beds and credit for food and drinks.
Want something casual? Grab a bite at the beach bar while sunbathing, or opt for the stylish restaurant serving seafood and meat specialties with sea views.

Roca Blanca

One of the most elegant beach clubs in Los Cristianos, located along the oceanfront promenade. While it doesn’t have direct beach access, it faces Playa de los Tarajales, so you’ll still enjoy sea views from your lounger.

There’s a bar-restaurant area and a beach club section with loungers, poufs, Balinese beds, and a swimming pool. DJs often play here, creating a relaxed and stylish vibe.

Bahia

In the peaceful area of El Palm Mar lies this lovely oceanfront beach club with ethnic-style décor. For me, it’s one of the most beautiful and well-kept beach clubs in South Tenerife.

It has a spacious bar and restaurant area with ocean-view tables on a terrace, as well as tables where you can dine with your feet in the sand. There’s always music, live or from a DJ.

Bahia Beach Club Tenerife
The beach area features sunbeds and balinese beds on the sand, and there’s also beach access just a few meters away.
It’s great both during the day and in the evening at sunset for a drink with music and the sound of waves in the background.

Coqueluche

P.º La Pedrera, 38679 La Enramada, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

On the black sand beach of La Enramada in La Caleta, you’ll find this historic beach club, one of my personal favorites. I usually come here for a drink at sunset, especially since there’s live music every evening.

Sunbeds and umbrellas are set right on the beach, and the vibe is easygoing and super relaxed. You can order drinks and food right from your lounger or sit at the tables near the bar. Another perfect sunset spot!

Casa Playa

C. el Espigón, 38650 Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

To me, this is the best beach club in Los Cristianos. It’s located at the far end of Playa Las Vistas (one of the best beaches in Tenerife South), right next to the harbor and a large paid parking lot, very handy if you’re driving.

The ethnic decor reminds me of some beach clubs in Bali. There’s a bar/restaurant where the food is quite good, a section with high tables and stools, and a sandy area with big cushions.

Here, you can relax in the sun with a drink, and in the evening, the DJ turns it into a proper party. A beautiful spot, definitely worth visiting!
